Through guided breathwork, you’ll tap into a calmer mind, greater self-awareness, and a stronger connection to your body. During the session, we’ll gather in a safe, non-judgmental space to share experiences, offer support, and strengthen the bonds of community.

    Come breathe, release, and reconnect.

Chris is a breathwork instructor, with a focus on building resilience against any stress that creeps into your day to day life.

As someone who was never taught stress management growing up, and now as an adult and a father of 2, he understands that life is full of stressors and distractions, hijacking, dysregulating and overriding our attempts to maintain a healthy nervous system.

Teaching the spectrum of techniques, the best practices, the why, when and how, it’s his goal to help you find your equanimity and to be able to maintain it when life gets chaotic.

Merging science with connection exercises and techniques he aims to teach Breathwork in an easy to understand and relatable way.”

  • Heidi Stenschke

    Hypnoga: I am Worthy.

One pointed focus’ is 1 of the 8 limbs of yoga. One pointed focus is also the art of hypnosis. This is Hypnoga. Join me in a session designed specifically for the person who wants to speak the words with absolute conviction ‘I am worthy’.

Expect a brief prep talk then gentle movement that will lead us into an easy state of relaxation for guided hypnosis. My voice will go with you.

This session is suitable for footy players, astronauts and yogis of all levels. P.S You are worthy.

“When people hear that I combine hypnosis and yoga, responses are extreme, to say the least. At one end of the spectrum, there is excitement and intrigue, and at the other end of the spectrum there is scepticism and accusations of bastardising yoga.

While curiosity is present across the board, there is an obvious acceptance of what yoga is, yet a vast gap in the knowledge of what hypnosis is.

Some say that hypnosis is mind control, and this is such a big misunderstanding. As misunderstanding leads to misjudgement, it is my desire that, through my stall and my workshop at the Yoga and Wellness Festival, you may better understand what hypnosis is, how it works, and in turn, you may gain a glimpse as to how hypnosis is actually complementary to yoga

Heidi Stenschke is a Master Trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programming, Trainer of Hypnotherapy, Yoga Teacher and the founder of Hypnoga®. She has decades of experience as an advocate and activist in the workers rights and human rights both locally and internationally.

  • Justine Schafer

    Yin Yoga

Join Justine as she guides you through an immersive, soothing, healing, whole body introduction to yin yoga - suitable for beginners and experienced yin yogis.

Yin yoga is a slow-paced practice that focuses on holding deep stretches for extended periods, typically between 3 to 5 minutes, to target the connective tissues, such as fascia, ligaments and tendons, so that the body responds by making them a little longer and stronger. We stress the tissue, so that the body responds by strengthening it.

On the surface, this yin practice might seem uneventful. But yin yoga is a practice of interception, body awareness and going within. Unlike more dynamic forms of yoga, yin yoga encourages mindfulness and stillness, to cool the body and allow practitioners to release tension, improve flexibility, and cultivate inner stillness. Yin is a meditative practice that invites you to deepen your awareness of both body and breath, offering a soothing balance to the demands of daily life. Ideal for anyone looking to complement their active routine or seeking a calming and spacious experience.

“Yoga has been woven throughout all of Justine's adult life, having been a yoga practitioner for more than half her life now - Justine is very passionate about yoga! Justine is trained in hatha and vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, restorative yoga, yoga nidra, yoga goddess and shiva sequences, kids and family yoga. Justine is passionate about incorporating yoga into our everyday lives, and how yoga can support all aspects and stages of our lives.

Justine guides an intuitive practice, and encourages her students to attune to their own needs from each class. Justine loves teaching fluid, breath-centered practices with an interwoven theme, and is passionate about guiding you to find ways to find balance, alignment and equanimity in your life through yoga. Justine is also a reiki healer.”

  • Karen Gruber

    Mindfulness Meditation

In a world where our attention is constantly pulled in every direction, the ability to turn inward is a powerful act. Yet, with so many tools available, knowing where to start or how to return to a regular meditation practice can be overwhelming. The simplest way is to begin by sitting.

Karen invites you to sit with her, pause, and permit yourself to be. Meditation isn’t about self-improvement; it’s about befriending who you are now so you can step toward who you wish to become.

This session is open to all levels, whether new to meditation or looking to deepen your practice. You’ll receive practical tools and techniques to support you in making meditation a natural part of your daily life.

”Throughout my life, I have sought ways to support and encourage others to find autonomy and strength within themselves. From my time teaching Buddhist-based meditation to my training as a counsellor and in recent years, where I have been working as a freelance artist and designer, I have built and nurtured skills in holding space and serving the community.

I believe we are each the experts in our own lives and know what will serve us. In my classes, I aim to provide a space where others can observe and create awareness, exploring their inner world so they can nurture themselves from a place of strength and compassion. “

Fluid Strength: A Yoga Practice for Mobility & Ease

This session blends yoga, mobility, and movement exploration to help you build strength, flexibility, and resilience in your body. Designed to enhance ease of movement, we’ll focus on dynamic sequences that improve joint mobility and functional strength while fostering a deeper connection with how your body moves. Expect a playful yet purposeful practice that will leave you feeling open, strong, and refreshed.

“Movement has always been my language. From a young age, I lived and breathed dance—ballet, modern, and tap were my world. But after years of teaching and four children later, I found myself searching for a way to reconnect with my body in a way that felt strong, free, and sustainable. That’s when I discovered yoga—not just as a practice, but as a way to move, heal, and truly feel at home in my body.

Now, as a yoga teacher, I specialise in mobility and functional movement, helping people unlock strength and ease through intentional, intelligent movement. My classes blend yoga with dynamic mobility work, creating a practice that feels fluid, empowering, and deeply nourishing. Whether you’re looking to move better, feel better, or simply reconnect with yourself, I’m here to guide you through it—one breath, one movement at a time.”
